Making a Difference

Dr. Demray parades a cast of characters through the streets of Northville for the annual 4th of July Parade, the Halloween Parade during "Trick or Treat" Street activities and the Holiday Lighted Parade.

Each and every year on the 4th of July the PD Bugs appear.  It all began with Betsy Floss, Mr. 2th DK, Miss Ginger Vitis and the Tooth Fairy. They are now accompanied by PlaqueMan, Sugar Bugs, the Candy Cops and Miss Sweet Tooth. In 2002, Dr. Demray and the late Charles (Nick) Simkins paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the 9/11 tragedy. They entered Lady Liberty and hosted an a cappella sing-along as a prelude to the parade.

In service to the greater Detroit metropolitan area, Dr. Demray welcomes the opportunity to speak out in encouragement of healthy oral hygiene habits. He has actively participated with Starfish Family Services, Montessori, Grandview Elementary, The Growing Place and several other noted health and education organizations. He encourages his staff to participate in community service projects and programs.

William Demray, DDS has been named one of the Top Dentists by HOUR Detroit Magazine and in StyleLine Magazine several years running. He has also been voted the "People's Choice" Best Dentist in Northville for multiple years. Dr. Demray was named "Citizen of the Year" by the Northville Chamber of Commerce in October, 2011 and the American Association of University Women presented him with the Community Enrichment Award for 2011-2012.
